Dependable power when yo need it!
Bought this beauty shortly after the Derecho struck Houston in 2024 - and I'm glad we did - because a couple of months later, hurricane Beryl arrived and most of Houston was left without power again. Our HXT ran for almost a week solid, running the whole house - lights, AC, dishwasher - the lot - and only stopping once a day to change the oil out (very easy btw). Very impressed. She's been used a couple of times since then too. Definitely one of the best purchases we've made.

Staying powered up!
In preparation of having my house setup to be run on battery for short term outages and using my 13000HXT to keep the battery charged to longer outages, I used my DuroMax to power my house with extension cords while the power was down to install electrical work including a 50 amp with interlock for redundancy. It ran flawlessly including a powerful fan to keep the electricians cool in 100⁰ heat! My DuroMax is doing the job flawlessly!

Good service
So far it's been a great generator. Thankfully I haven't had to use it for prolonged outages. Best part is the availability of parts from the company which is necessary. Most generator companies don't have many parts available or don't even sell parts for their units.

emergency generator
I have used this generator for two years now. Bought and installed connection box to the house breaker box and have used it during power outages. The generator has never failed to start/run for long durations. Keeping the oil changed and battery charged on a regular basis. Love the ability to run on gasoline or propane. Also, being portable it gives me the option to take to barn and have electrical power there when needed. Only wish there had been larger capacity when I bought this one, would have purchased a greater KW unit.
